On this journey, we’ve seen and heard people crying out to Jesus. This woman doesn’t say a word. But her tears and her actions say everything.
She isn’t looking for approval, she’s pleading for mercy. She doesn’t expect Jesus to say she’s ok, she’s hoping to be forgiven.
Jesus doesn’t ignore her past, and he doesn’t hold it against her. He starts with the here and now, and moves forward. “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
