Today we meet a paralytic who needs a blessing. His friends go to great lengths to get him to Jesus. Obviously they expect Jesus to heal their friend. But Jesus starts with a more important blessing.
Then we meet a tax collector. Tax collectors had plenty of money, but were shunned by their community. See how Jesus blesses this tax collector – and how the people respond.
