With Jesus’ authority, Peter and John healed a lame man. He was overjoyed, jumping around and praising God! The people were amazed and ran up to get closer. Many happily responded to Peter’s call to turn to God and be saved by Jesus.
And the Jewish authorities? They were angry. They questioned Peter and John in front of the whole council.
It’s easy to stand for Jesus when people like what they’re hearing. But standing for Jesus in front of his enemies? That’s the real test.
