Day 20: Woman at the well (part 1). Jesus offers living water to a Samaritan woman.

A Samaritan woman is surprised by Jesus. The living water he offers sounds a lot better than the dead well water!

The Samaritans were half-blood Israelites who refused to worship in the temple. Pure-bred Jews kept their distance and treated Samaritans like enemies. Even the Samaritan is shocked that this Jew would talk with her!

Jesus, however, doesn’t avoid this Samaritan. Look how generous he is with his time. How generously he offers living (flowing) water!
