Two followers ask a favor at the wrong time. Will Jesus hear two blind men asking to be healed?

Jesus has just described how he will die—and that he will rise again. Do James and John seem genuinely concerned? If they are, they have a strange way of showing it.

Notice Jesus doesn’t scold them. He gives an honest answer to their request. And expands on that to describe genuine humility.

Two more people have a request, but they’re very humble already.
