Day 35: Jesus prays all night. Peter’s trust is tested when he walks on water

Anyone would panic if they saw Jesus walking on water. But only a lunatic would join him out there. Right?

Trust begins with belief, faith. When the disciples saw someone, at night, walking on the water towards them, what did they believe? But just a word from Jesus calms them down.

Then Simon Peter makes a crazy request! And Jesus agrees!

Simon Peter is the only one with so much faith, so much trust in Jesus, that he asks to join Jesus on the water. When his trust starts falling apart, notice how Jesus responds. Watch what Jesus does.

How much faith do you have in Jesus today? Enough to let him calm you with a few words? Enough to let him save you from drowning?
