This week, Jesus blasts the fakers, the posers. He used the word for a theater actor—hypocrite. And he applied it to the most religious, the most upright people of the time!

This probably left the people wondering, “If the most religious people don’t have it right, who does? Who does God listen to when they pray? Is there any point in giving or fasting?”
